ERICK R. MUÑOZ MADRID

He has been practicing since 1994. He works in SUCRE, ARIAS & REYES since 1996, as a lawyer in different departments, such as finances, government procedures, corporate, litigation and labor. He currently serves as partner in charge of the Immigration and Labor Department of the firm. He is an authorized public translator from Spanish to English and vice versa since 1999.

He was appointed as representative of the employers’ sector before the Conciliation and Decision Boards of the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development during the months of July to September 2001 and he is a licensed realtor since 2009. In the last years he has specialized in advising clients, among which there are major domestic and multinational companies, in their government procedures, before the SEM (Sede de Empresas Multinacionales (Multinational Companies Headquarters)] Technical Secretariat, before the National Immigration Service and in labor matters.

He has contributed as advisor for the World Bank regarding the Doing Business annual report during years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, and was selected to be arbitrator, in labor matters, of the Autoridad del Canal de Panama (ACP), by the ACP Employment Relations Board of, since September 2019 up to this date.
