MICHELL LESCURE

Michell is an Associate Attorney in the Regulatory Affairs and Intellectual Property Department at Sucre Arias Reyes. She joined the firm in 2019 as a legal assistant and, after a distinguished trajectory, was promoted to Associate. Since then, she has provided legal counsel to local and international clients in the areas of sanitary registrations, regulatory compliance, and the protection of trademarks and copyrights.

She has extensive experience in technical, administrative, and legal regulatory matters, covering a wide range of product categories such as food and beverages, supplements, cosmetics and hygiene products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, agro-industrial goods, and pesticides, among others. Her practice includes the comprehensive management of regulatory procedures, including the obtaining, renewal, and modification of sanitary registrations; transfers and assignments; label review; sanitary licenses; operating permits; and training on regulatory requirements and processes.

Michell stands out for her expertise in the technical-legal aspects of animal and plant health before the Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA), where she advises and manages registrations and certifications for veterinary products, animal medicines, pet food, fertilizers, soil conditioners, and other agricultural products. This work has allowed her to develop a solid understanding of Panama’s sanitary and agro-industrial regulations, as well as the technical procedures applicable to these sectors.
