CÉSAR AUGUSTO MORENO ALMANZA
Professional experience
He has been practicing since 2003. César Augusto works in the areas of civil litigation, especially related to contract law (breach, nullity), inheritance (testate or intestate), contractual and extra-contractual civil liability, and arbitration litigation.
He served as a judicial officer from 1990 to 2006, in positions such as process server, stenographer, clerk, senior officer, court bailiff and judicial clerk of circuit and municipal courts in the civil branch.
He was an official of the Public Ministry, in the Prosecutor’s Office Specialized in Civil Matters, from 2006 to 2010, where he held the positions of lawyer II, deputy prosecutor and senior prosecutor.
In arbitration matters, he served as representative of the Attorney General's Office before the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) in arbitration proceedings initiated against the Republic of Panama for an amount of 60 million dollars and before the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá, Colombia, in arbitration proceedings initiated by the Republic of Panama.
