ERNESTO B. ARIAS

He has been practicing since 1977. He is in charge of the Insurance and Reinsurance Law Department, where he has assisted the main local and foreign insurance companies, reinsurers and reinsurance brokers in the process of obtaining operating or registration licenses before the Superintendency of Insurance and Reinsurance of Panama; responsible for issuing opinions on insurance, reinsurance and surety matters, as well as coordination with the Litigation Department. Together with the lawyers that make up the Insurance and Reinsurance Law Department, he participates and supervises the drafting of policies and bonds, indemnification agreements and documents related to the insurance industry. He is also coordinator of the firm’s Finance Department.
